What’s a Super User?

Super Users focus on support before, during, and after the Epic transition. They are trained early and receive extra preparation, so they can help their teams more effectively.

Training period: April 27–May 22, 2026

  • Trained before others
  • Receive additional training and e-learning
  • Learn how to support teammates during the transition

Support period: May 26 through go-live

  • Help facilitate classes
  • Provide support before and during Epic go-live
  • Offer hands-on, at-the-elbow support
  • Maintain knowledge and assist during updates after go-live

What’s a Specialty Trainer?

Specialty Trainers are providers who help train their peers within a specific specialty or role.

Training period: June 1–July 24, 2026

  • Trained early for their specific training track
  • Help Epic Trainers tailor content to their specialty

Support period: June 1–July 24, 2026

  • Assist during in-person classroom training, alongside Epic Trainers
  • Lead user settings labs for providers after classroom training

What’s an Epic Trainer?

An Epic Trainer works at a healthcare facility to train hospital employees in the Epic healthcare record system.
