Wave 2 MyChart resources now available

Epic News Menu

For those included in the Epic wave 2 implementation, we want to ensure that you’re prepared. We are committed to equipping you with the information and resources you need throughout this important journey.

The Epic transition also includes the rollout of the MyChart patient portal, which will give patients a more seamless and convenient way to access their health information, communicate with their providers, and manage their care.

Beginning in early November and continuing over the next several months, you may notice MyChart promotional materials being displayed throughout our hospitals and clinics. They are designed to raise patient awareness of MyChart, highlight its benefits, and encourage patients to sign up for an account.

It’s important that you understand the new portal and its sign-up processes so you can confidently explain these changes when patients have questions. A helpful resource is now available on the Journey to Epic website. It features answers to frequently asked questions and guidance on communicating throughout the transition.

Please take a few minutes to review these materials. Additional resources and updates will be shared as we move forward.

We recognize that preparing for this transition requires considerable time, effort, and dedication, all while you continue providing exceptional care and service to the patients who depend on us. Thank you for your willingness to embrace these changes as we work together to make our Epic Journey as smooth as possible for patients and staff alike.
