Principal Trainer
Guiding Principle:
United Excellence
“Chinonso is a team player who is concerned about his manager, fellow PT’s, CT’s and end users. He has dotted all of his I’s and crossed all of his T’s while still making sure to assist his co-workers with excellence. He is making sure that the team as a whole succeeds and will leave no stone unturned until we do. He once mentioned to me that this will take the load off of the manager and the CT’s and make their lives easier if we do this.”

Since we began working in Epic’s POC environment several months ago, EDW developers ( full-time remote users connecting through VMs and Birmingham-area users connecting to their Avondale computers via Remote Desktop Connection) have been unable to download files from Epic’s Citrix applications to our HNAS or local drives. The only viable workaround available to us was connecting directly to Epic Citrix applications and downloading files to our personal (home) machines. Once downloaded, developers had to find creative methods for moving files between Epic and HSIS networks with our home computers as an intermediary step. Originally reported as a FileZilla issue, we later discovered this issue affects all of Epic’s Citrix applications including Hyperspace (the new EHR). Thanks in no small part to his effort, Steven — working directly with Stephen Osbourne (UAB HSIS InfoSec) — successfully resolve this critical issue. I’m happy to report HSIS employees connecting via VM Remote Desktop Connection now have a secure, efficient solution for moving files between Epic servers and HSIS-network machines.”
