This training registration is for users that will Go Live in Wave 1 on July 25, 2026. This includes anyone employed by, or supporting UAB St. Vincent’s facilities, or related entities that will use direct access to the Epic EHR.
- Super Users supporting Wave 1 will need to be registered by their supervisor/manger no matter the entity.
- Providers need to register themselves.
- Providers with non-provider direct reports will need to attend a Manager Fair session and register those individuals.
- GuestHouse user education details will be sent separately.
- EpicCare Link user education is completed through the EpicCare Link site.
Username and Multifactor Authentication (MFA)
To access EpicU you will need your UABMC username (username@uabmc.edu).
- If you need assistance with your UAB AD Username and/or password reset or need assistance with setting up Multifactor Authenticator, contact the UAB Helpdesk at 205-502-9990.
- You must use an onsite UAB network computer at a St. Vincent’s or UAB location to claim your UABMC username and to register for MFA.
- EpicU platforms have not been tested on a tablet or cell phone, so please use a desktop or laptop computer to complete registration.
