Get started with Suki before Epic go-live

Epic News Menu

As UAB Medicine prepares for wave 2 of the enterprise-wide Epic go-live in February, we are looking for ways to reduce administrative burdens and help clinicians transition more seamlessly from Cerner to Epic.

Suki can play an important role in that transition through its ambient AI listening and documentation features, but it’s important for clinicians to build familiarity with this tool and its workflows ahead of go-live.

We’ve already seen strong results with Suki at UAB St. Vincent’s, including:

  • 90% adoption in Internal Medicine and 81% in Family Medicine
  • 95% of Suki users are closing encounters the same day, compared with 82% of non-Suki users
  • Significant reductions in after-hours documentation, with one clinician reporting that Suki saves her about 10 hours per week

Please see this infographic for additional results and feedback from UAB St. Vincent’s clinicians.

The Suki team can work directly with departments on specialty-specific workflows and customizations, similar to work already underway with Hematology/Oncology, Endocrinology, and Urology. The team would be happy to attend an upcoming departmental or faculty meeting, to provide a brief overview and demonstration of Suki and explain how it can support your specialty.

If you’re interested in scheduling a learning session with the Suki team, please email slundy@suki.ai.
