If you previously used a version of Epic within one year of UAB St. Vincent’s go-live (July 2026), you may request to test out of general training by completing this provider test-out form.
Please note that once the form is submitted, it may take a couple of days for your assessment test to be assigned. Each provider should also verify that the assigned assessment test matches their correct role before beginning. Providers with more than one job category may have multiple assessment tests to complete.
We strongly recommend participating in all training events, including general training. But if you do wish to test out, please keep these considerations in mind:
- You will still be required to attend the User Settings Lab.
- Your test-out request will be evaluated and validated to ensure that your previous experience with Epic is sufficient for your current role.
- If you do not pass general testing, you will be required to complete the full scope of training.
